Trials run over successive years have statically proven the benefits of applying Sirius to strawberries via fertigation lines.
Trials run by the University of Hertfordshire on a commercial farm, have shown a delay in the onset and a reduction in total strawberry powdery mildew infection. The data also shows a significant reduction in two spotted spider mite.
Further work by the University has revealed that regular feeding of bioactive silicon to strawberry plants increases leaf chlorophyll levels, fruiting numbers and brix content.
Watch this 20min video to see Dr Avice Hall explain how the plant enhances its natural defences to make it more resilience to pest and disease attack.
